Halloween

I hate to admit that we did ZERO fun fall activities... I have not even had a pumpkin spiced latte yet!! Luckily after surgery, pneumonia, a blizzard and Hurricane Sandy we are finally able to go trick or treating this year!!!! 

Jaiden declared his need to be Iron Man in July on a drive to Brigantine. So that was simple!! He woke up at 5am on Halloween needing to put on his costume!! 

He had a big party at school and couldn't wait to trick or treat at home. We started off with all the neighborhood kids. Jaiden ran to keep up with the big kids. Nothing was going to slow him down!! 45min later ... He was done!! All candied out and pleading to go home. We went to Julie and Gordon's, where he proceeded to get more candy and watch G scare some kids!! 

Four days later, he has not once asked for his candy and his father and I have been secretly munching on it!! 

Sorry for the bad blurry pics but getting a kid to stand still on Halloween is physically impossible!! The last one Jaiden was running as fast as possible to the next house as if they were going to run out!!

30 Days ...

November is the start of the holiday season and this month reminds us how much there is to be thankful for!! 

I missed the first few days ... So let's play catchup!!

Nov 1: Jaiden. Enough said. He makes me strive to work harder, in my job, in my relationship, in my friendships. He is the person I look forward to seeing everyday every morning, no matter the time. I feel incredibly blessed to be his mom!! 

Nov 2: J! He has been my rock for more years than I can count. We have been through good times and bad times and he is the one person I can always count on. He is an amazing provider for both Jaiden and I!! 

Nov 3: Lazy Sundays! My day to spend with my boys. The perfect Sunday is when we can lounge all day- watching movies, reading books and being silly. I cherish this time I get to spend with Jaiden and J each week!! 

I hope to look back on these post throughout the year when I am having a rough day to remind me how lucky I am!!
